Our Mission is to consistently deliver professional remodeling and handyman services that exceed our clients’ expectations, while creating relationships that will generate a lifetime of referrals and repeat business.
Our Story
Home Improvement Express (HIE) was started in 1999 by Jonathan Brooks, in Denver. The business grew quickly, and morphed from a sole proprietor handyman business into a design-build remodeling company (Brooks Design-Build Corp.) and eventually into a custom home building company (Artisan Design-Build Corp.). In 2018, we decided to focus on handyman services and taking on smaller remodeling projects, so Home Improvement Express was re-launched. HIE is thriving, and very happy to serve our clients’ home improvement needs, from handyman services to kitchen & bath remodeling projects. The Laramie franchise was started in 2023 by Greyson Brooks, and is focusing solely on handyman services.
